Man calls daughter’s ‘rapist’ home, tortures and kills him, say police

The father allegedly burned the man’s genitals using heated tongs and strangled him to death.

Furious over the alleged rape of his 14-year-old daughter by a 45-year-old married man, the father called the man to his house on Friday night, treated him to dinner and then tortured him to death, police said. He then went to the police station, surrendered himself and gave police a detailed account on how he tortured and murdered the man.

The 36-year-old reportedly burned the man’s genitals using heated tongs and then strangled him to death. The incident was reported from Northeast Delhi’s Khajuri Khas area on Saturday.

Based on the man’s statement, police said the deceased, a medicine supplier, had allegedly raped the man’s minor daughter two months ago. The father did not approach police fearing “a bad name for his daughter”.

“The father called the medicine supplier over to his house saying he wanted to discuss some issue. He served him dinner. After the meal, the father overpowered the man and tied him to a chair. He got heated tongs and burned the supplier’s genitals before strangling him to death. He came to the police station and surrendered himself,” an officer said.

The father reportedly gave police a detailed account of how he tortured the man to death.

“Based on his statement, we sent a team to the spot and recovered the body. It has been sent for a post-mortem examination and his family has been informed. A case of murder has been registered and the 36-year-old man was arrested,” the officer said.

In his statement, the man told police that two months ago, while he was away at his shop in the area, the medicine supplier had come calling at his house. On finding the minor girl alone at home, he allegedly raped her. He threatened the girl with dire consequences if she spoke about the incident to anyone.

Police said the girl, however, told her father about it the same day. The man also told police that he did not approach them as he feared that neighbours and relatives would blame his daughter for the incident.

Police said the father had been planning the murder since the day he found out about his daughter’s alleged rape. He further told police that he used to get furious whenever he saw the man happy with his family while his daughter was suffering.

Hopefully the man was guilty, did he take his child to have her examined? , and if he did and it was true , then I applaud him , it saved the taxpayers money by not going to court and keeping and feeding him in jail.

Way to go! This is one of those cases where street justice works better than the law, and places much less cost on the shoulders of the taxpayer. AN IDEA: What we need to do is insute a new level of homicide. Now, bear with me here---We have Murder in the First Degree (for profit, for revenge, for kicks, etc.) We have Murder Two (pion, not quite a , uh, unkind as M-1) We have Manslaughter, we have Self-Defense, and so on. But what we don't have , is LAUDABLE HOMICIDE, which would be, "Yeah, the world's a better place without him, and he needed killing." So how about a new law that says, you do the human race a favor, and you go to court to prove you were the one who did the bad guy in, and you collect umpty thousand dollars, tax free, and a medal, and a new car. Or, maybe Super Bowl tickets. It would be noisy in a few neighborhoods for a while, and sanitation crews might be working overtime for a while, but the end result would be very polite, cheerful, law abiding citizens, no?

Although the courts will probably put this father to death, I'll go on record as saying that, if this had been my daughter and the perpetrator had raped her, I'd have ended the entire "punishment" by burning the perp at the stake - IN MY FRONT YARD! I might even invite whatever lily-livered jurist, who had let the man off, previously, with a slap on the wrist, to help me roast hotdogs to sell the the onlookers.

Too bad that he surrendered to police. Should have discretely disposed of the body. Any good father would feel the same way.

Was the murder victim Muslim? "The man also told police that he did not approach them as he feared that neighbours and relatives would blame his daughter for the incident." Sounds like fear of Muslim violence.

In the fathers defence, as a father myself, I can sympathize with the utter rage he must have felt towards this animal. This poor father should be deemed not guilty by way of temporary insanity, and thanked by the courts for taking this monster off the streets

I would applaud the way the father handled the event. I hope the officiales will consider the justice has been done and let the father raise his family as he will.

It was the fault of a corrupt government that caused this. If that man had trusted that he would have gotten justice for his daughter by going to the police, he would have never resorted to that. He must have been suffering almost as much as his daughter and that sends people over the edge. All people deserve a fair and just government but more and more countries are being controlled by corrupt people who only think of filling their pockets with taxpayer money and never about the horrible situations that that corruption causes in society. I am heartsick for that poor child and her father.

IF this man was the rapist, he got just what he deserved. This needs to happen to ALL Rapists. Cut off and get rid of the raping apparatus and it will not happen again. Make sure they burn the balls to get rid of the testosterone. Good job Dad, you did the right thing for your daughter.
