Lady Shri Ram College will soon have chapters in major cities worldwide starting with London, followed by West Coast in USA and Singapore . The LSR Alumni network, referred to as ELSAs, will hold its inaugural London meet at the Shard, Europe’s tallest building, on September 20 this year.

“It has been very exciting to organise and plan the London event with the support of some members in New Delhi,” Richa Grover, a London-based UK government employee and a college alumni who is spearheading the chapter, said.

ELSAs are a worldwide network of women who provide a platform to former students to come together for career and social growth.

“We started ELSA in June. We have been inundated with calls and messages from LSR alumnae worldwide to begin chapters in cities across the globe. We will be deliberating upon a way to do this soon,” Anite Vasudevan, member, executive committee, ELSA, said.

The London alumni chapter will host a series of charity events in the coming months to raise awareness about the association and celebrate academic achievements around the world.
