The Aam Aadmi Party has begun its drive for Arvind Kejriwal to be re-elected as Delhi chief minister with a campaign called Kejriwal Firse (Kejriwal Again)”. Senior leaders have said the party intends to “localise issues” for the Assembly election as far as possible, whenever they are announced.

Delhi has been without a chief minister since Kejriwal resigned on February 14. The 70- member Assembly elected last December remains suspended.

Since the BJP’s success in Haryana and Maharashtra, AAP leadership believes the Centre will bank on the momentum from these states and announce fresh Delhi elections soon.

“We have told our workers to be in campaign mode, and spread the word on the work done by the Arvind Kejriwal government,” a senior leader said.

The campaign has largely been divided into two parts. One focus area will be dedicated to the steps Kejriwal took while he was in power, such as the cut in power rates and the audit sanctioned on power companies. The other is to publicise the work of the 27 MLAs of the party, irrespective of whether done during the Kejriwal government or after government fell.

We have 27 seats at the moment and retaining them is an important part of the plan to return to the Delhi Assembly with a majority,” a senior leader said.

Former Delhi minister Manish Sisodia said the idea is to “showcase the work done by our MLA’s in this short period of time”.

He said, “There has been an emphasis on transparency, projects using MLA development funds and other government schemes. We want to remind people the things that have been accomplished by us in this period even though we are not in power.”

The online wing of the party has brought out “report cards” of certain MLAs with a list of “work” done by each legislator. The report card of Sanjeev Jha from Burari says, “Forty mohalla sabhas, 33 projects and Rs 4 crore allocated”.

MLAs working in Delhi? Spending their MLA development fund ? Each MLA gets 4 crore each year to spend in his/her consuency. But we never heard our MLA asking us where to spend it????AAP MLAs are asking Delhites "where should we spend YOUR money?" on roads, water, electricity, road-lights?2 AAP MLAs have made an online site where citizens can report their issues and track the progress so they can question their MLA.I find it amusing people calling names to AAP or AK. But nobody wants to discuss real issue of development, duties of MLA, resolving local issues.

Deepak, you are a victim of something that is called media hypnosis. The media is working tirelessly to showcase every mistake of kejriwal as the biggest scam and his achievements as nothing. I don't blame you because people all over the world are being made to believe what the corporate owned media wants them to believe.Yes kejriwal made some mistakes, but when compared to rest of the pact he is a thousand times better leader and human being
