Juveniles kill Class XI boy with ice pick: Police

A Class XI student was allegedly stabbed to death by two juveniles on Friday afternoon at a park near his school in Pul Prahaladpur,Southeast Delhi.

A Class XI student was allegedly stabbed to death by two juveniles on Friday afternoon at a park near his school in Pul Prahaladpur,Southeast Delhi.

One of the juveniles had harassed the boy’s sister about three days ago,police said. After the boy,identified as Sanjay,warned them,the juveniles hatched a plan to get back,police claimed.

The attack took place around 2.30 pm on Friday. Sanjay,police said,was returning home to Mittal Chowk when the juveniles stabbed him with an ice pick. “They stabbed him thrice,on the right and left sides of his chest and his thigh before fleeing,” said a police officer.

While the juveniles are on the run,police said they had been identified and would be arrested soon. A case of murder has been registered.
