In 72 hours,three minors sexually assaulted in capital

A 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted allegedly by her neighbour in South Delhi. The incident was reported from Sector 2,RK Puram,on Sunday night.

A 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted allegedly by her neighbour in South Delhi. The incident was reported from Sector 2,RK Puram,on Sunday night.

Police said the victim was playing outside her home when the accused,also a minor,lured her to his house and sexually assaulted her.

The victim later informed her parents after which police were informed. A case under POCSO Act has been registered,police said.

Meanwhile,another 10-year-old girl was raped allegedly by a man who police said is in his 30s. The incident was reported from near the Tughlaqabad Fort,police said.

People living nearby rushed the girl to a hospital. A medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape.

In her statement to police,the girl alleged that the accused abducted her from a chemist shop,took her to the nearby jungle and raped her.

Investigating officers said the victim was unable to identify the accused.

Another rape was reported from West Delhi’s Kirti Nagar on Saturday night. Police said the victim was a four-year-old girl who was raped allegedly by her 19-year-old neighbour,who has been apprehended.

According to police,the victim was watching television at her neighbour’s house when the accused lured her away with the promise of a gift.

“He allegedly took her out to a secluded spot and raped her. He also threatened the girl not to tell her parents about it,” a senior officer said.

The girl was later spotted crying outside her house.

Her mother found her bleeding and rushed her to a hospital. A medical examination of the the girl has confirmed rape

The mother also filed an official complaint with the police.

Based on the complaint and the medical report,a case of rape and under the POCSO Act was registered at Kirti Nagar police station.
