Heat wave continues in Delhi, Met Department predicts rainfall next week

IMD predicts temperature fall and rainfall in Delhi over the next week.

Delhiites woke up to a sunny morning on Saturday with minimum temperature settling at 27.6 degrees Celsius.

“Relative humidity in air was recorded at 39 per cent at 8.30 AM,” a MeT official said.

The weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky for rest of the day.

“Sky will be partly clear. Maximum temperature is expected to soar up to 42 degrees Celsius,” the official said.

On Friday, maximum temperature was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius.

According to Indian Meteorological Department, there will be a slight fall in temperature over the next week, predicting rainfall or thunderstorm on June 1 and 2.
