For the first time in 22 years, several Muslim organisations in the country came together on Saturday to mark the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition and to “remind everyone that the issue is not over”. Protestors marched from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar demanding punishment of the guilty and rebuilding of the mosque.

“We have heard that the BJP wants to settle the issue in its own way, as it is back in power. We wish to remind everyone that this issue and our struggle is not over,” Zafar-ul-Islam,a protester said.
