The bus then crashed into the tree. Some of the passersby who had gathered at the spot caught the DTC driver and started beating him,” Singh, who has been with CISF for 19 years, told police. He was posted at Nirman Bhawan last year.

The bus,he said, was being driven recklessly. One of the passersby alerted the PCR about the incident.
