Delhi residents reel under sultry weather

Delhi residents woke up to a sultry morning on Saturday with the mercury maintaining an upward trend.

According to a Met department official, the minimum temperature was registered at 32.7 degree Celsius, almost two notches higher than yesterday’s minimum of 31 degree Celsius.

Humidity levels this morning were recorded between 32 and 56 per cent. The maximum temperature may cross the 42 degree Celsius mark, the MeT official said. Yesterday, the maximum temperature in the city settled at 43 degree Celsius.

The weatherman predicted partly cloudy skies and thundery conditions in some areas.
