Delhi: Attendant held for ‘assaulting’ woman doctor at RML Hospital

In her complaint, the doctor said, “When asked to wait, he gathered some people and started using foul language. They became physically abusive... .”

The attendant of a patient at Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital was arrested Thursday for allegedly assaulting a woman doctor. The incident took place Wednesday evening, when the attendant allegedly used foul language against the doctor.

In her complaint, the doctor said, “When asked to wait, he gathered some people and started using foul language. They became physically abusive… .”

Doctors of RML Hospital had threatened to go on strike unless action was taken against the attendant.
