The last session of the Delhi Assembly is expected to be stormy,as an aggressive BJP prepares to attack the ruling Congress on several issues. The monsoon session between August 27 and 30 will be the first ever to be broadcast live on the Internet. Leader of the Opposition V K Malhotra said the BJP had requested short duration discussions on issues ranging from power to unauthorised colonies,but only four were allowed. “This is a very short session but we will not relent. Congress has failed miserably on all counts and we will take every opportunity to corner them,” Malhotra said. Speaker Yoganand Shastri said 43 requests were received for short duration discussions,of which the Business Advisory Committee listed four.
