Twelve children were injured after their school van met with an accident on National Highway-1 in Outer Delhi’s Alipur area around 7.30 am on Thursday. Preliminary investigation revealed rash driving and said the driver jumped the traffic signal before ramming into a divider.
Police seized the school van and arrested the driver, Anil, 36. A local resident called up police and informed about the incident. “All the children were rushed to Satyawadi Raja Harish Chandra Hospital in Narela. They are out of danger,” a police officer said.
