“The man claimed he also drove a BMW and asked Amit how much he was being paid. The man said he was being paid more and offered to introduce him to the family he worked for since they were looking for a second driver,” said ASI Kundan.

Amit then went to meet the man at IFFCO Chowk around 11 am Monday in the BMW. The latter asked him to drive to the Airtel office in Udyog Vihar, where a woman, claiming to be a member of the family that Raj worked for, met them.

The duo asked Amit to sit in the back seat with the woman while Raj took the wheel so they could discuss the terms of employment. Later, Amit was asked to get off and take the wheel once again.
