Criticising the “anti-women” stance of the BJP, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said the BJP “did not respect women”. “They used to say that they will protect women, but they are making them miserable. They say women should have four children, five children… are our mothers and sisters baby-making machines?” Kejriwal said at a public meeting at the Lal Bagh JJ colony in north Delhi.

“They say women should not wear jeans, they should not use mobile phones. Then they will say they should not work, they should not get education… is this how they respect women?” Kejriwal said.

“They have raised prices so much that it is difficult to raise two children, and they want you to have more, gareeb aadmi ko bhookha marna chahtein hain ye.”
