On Monday evening,many of those who represent the Indian beauty industry were present at the India Habitat Centre for the announcement of International Beauty Mart 2013,an initiative being launched with an aim to bring to light its growth as well as devise methods to give it a focused platform. The event is being organised by Delhi-based organisations All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) and TAFCON Projects and will take place at Greater Noida Expressway on November 14-17 next year. A platform for beauty professionals,manufacturers,trainers,service providers,traders and consumers of the industry,the expo is supported by the Ministry of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises. The business of beauty has come a long way. The Indian beauty industry records a 15-20 per cent growth every year,while the corresponding figures for cosmetic products and salons stand at 60 per cent and 35 per cent respectively. That is why we have organised a trade fair that covers the beauty business like none before, said Manoj Mehta,former president,AIFMP. Apart from Indian organisations,the mart has also invited participation from countries such as Germany and China.
