Young Boys Football Club qualified for super-six round-robin legue from group- I preliminary league stage to defeat Uttrakhand FC by 3 – 2 in a crucial well-contested encounter to gain three vital points. Young Boys needed a must win or a draw in Tuesdays match to make it to the super league and they succeed following a well deserving victory over spirited Uttrakhand who needed a win themselves. Young Boys completed their engagements by getting 15 points from 6 matches while Uttrakhand finished with 9 points from 6 games. The other team to make it to super-six league from the group was Indian Air Force ( Palam ) securing 16 points from 6 matches. Later on,in another group- II match,Shastri FC took advantage of depleted Friends United FC,who only were able to field 8 players initially winning 5 – 1 to make it to the super six league. In a group- III match,Victory defeated Delhi Students FC 3 – 2. Victory’s Ajay Singh scored a hat-trick in 5th,28th and 57th minute. Students’ Jeevan and Nikhil reduced margin 2 – 3 in 30th and 47th minute.
