Security was stepped up at the Delhi Secretariat’s media centre after a man hurled a shoe at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during a press conference last week.

Four Delhi police personnel stood guard at the gates of the media centre Tuesday, and asked those entering the room for their identity cards. A press conference by Transport Minister Gopal Rai on preparations for Phase II of the odd-even scheme was scheduled for 4 pm.
