NEW DELHI: A 28-year-old man died,while his friend was injured,when their motorcycle crashed into a truck on the NH-24 flyover in Ghazipur,East Delhi,on Sunday night. Sources said the man was talking on his cellphone prior to the accident. Police said they have no evidence to substantiate this claim. Sushil Kumar was returning home with Rahul from a mall in Ghazipur when the accident took place. Kumar died on the spot,while Rahul is battling for life at Pushpanjali Hospital.
Cops get notice for absence from court
NEW DELHI: Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Manish Yaduvanshi has issued a notice to two officers of Paharganj police station and summoned the Additional CP of Central district to explain why these officers had failed to appear in court when they were required there. The court issued this order after it was forced to acquit a person accused of possessing stolen goods as the police officers,summoned to bring the original FIR register,failed to appear in court.
Impersonator in Central govt job exam arrested
NEW DELHI: A 32-year-old man,who used give private tuitions,was arrested on Sunday morning for allegedly acting a dummy candidate for a person at a Central government recruitment exam. The accused has been arrested and a case of cheating,impersonation and criminal conspiracy has been registered against him at Rajouri Garden police station. Hemant Sharma was impersonating someone at a Staff Selection Commission Graduate tier-II exam.
