Around Town : Man caught with bullet at IGIA

Dharmanand Gunanand Ratudi of Kandivali (West) in Mumbai was arrested at the IGI Airport on Saturday for allegedly carrying a .38 bore bullet in his hand bag,police said.

New Delhi:Dharmanand Gunanand Ratudi of Kandivali (West) in Mumbai was arrested at the IGI Airport on Saturday for allegedly carrying a .38 bore bullet in his hand bag,police said. CISF men claimed to have found the bullet during X-ray screening of his bag.

Sewage tank gas kills 2 men

New Delhi:Two labourers engaged by the Delhi Jal Board died after inhaling poisonous gases when they were cleaning a sewage treatment plant at Kondli,East Delhi,on Saturday morning,police said. Police said Moolchand (45) and Dileep (42) died after entering a tank of the sewage plant. Five other labourers also fell unconscious.

2 autolifters held

New Delhi:The Traffic police on Friday nabbed two auto lifters after a short chase. Sohail (19) and Danish (18) had stolen a bike from Malviya Nagar and were riding towards Nehru Place without helmets. They jumped a traffic signal,after which a traffic personnel asked them to stop,Satyendra Garg,Joint CP (Traffic) said. The bikers did not stop,so the constable chased the duo,who were arrested,Garg said.
