Leader of Opposition in Delhi assembly Vijender Gupta has alleged that AAP government has been harassing him by sending notices to be present before the committee of privileges.
Gupta alleged that he has been served with a fresh notice to appear before the committee on December 5 on a notice on Breach of Privilege and contempt of House moved by K C Tyagi, member, Rajya Sabha against him. This notice has been served despite Rajya Sabha chairman Hamid Ansari accepting the unconditional apology sent to him by Gupta on August 12. “A communication has been sent to (Delhi) Speaker Ram Niwas Goel. Yet, they have not deterred from sending me notices on the same issue,” Gupta said.
