Friends kill student over minor money dispute

A 19-year-old,who was stabbed by six friends on Manjunath Nagar Main Road Tuesday evening over a minor money dispute,succumbed in a city hospital Wednesday.

A 19-year-old,who was stabbed by six friends on Manjunath Nagar Main Road Tuesday evening over a minor money dispute,succumbed in a city hospital Wednesday.

Sunil of KP Agrahara was a second-year student at Universal College on Magadi Road. The accused are still at large.

The police said the six stabbed Sunil in the chest,back and thigh. He was taken to various hospitals before finally being admitted to SMS Hospital in HSR Layout.

The police said they knew of the dispute as the friends had fought in public before. “We know the accused and have formed a team to arrest them,” they said,adding that Sunil,too,was involved in a few criminal cases.
