Youth Cong elections: Complaint filed,decision after Sept 5

The results of the election to the Chandigarh Territorial Youth Congress have come under a scanner with a complaint being filed.

The results of the election to the Chandigarh Territorial Youth Congress have come under a scanner with a complaint being filed. The final decision about the results would now be taken by FAME,the central complaints authority of the Youth Congress.

The elections were held on Monday. Mandeep Dhillon received the highest number of votes and a victory procession was taken out. The decision has now been left to FAME. The complaint reportedly pertains to a case registered against Dhillon.

Dhillon said that the issue had been resolved and that is why he was allowed to file nomination. The decision would be announced by FAME after September 5.

In the elections,Harmail Kesri polled 158 votes,Yadvinder Mehta received 54 votes,Ravinder polled 23 votes and Amit Kumar 21 votes.
