An unknown person allegedly stole 12 different household and personal items from the quarters of a Wing Commander posted at 3 BRD,Air Force in Sector 31.

According to the complainant,the thief stole his belongings worth around Rs 1.71 lakh,some of which are a handy camera,three mobile phones,one lawn tennis racket,five badminton rackets,one silver plate,10 woolen suits,three sets of crockery,two steel boxes,one hair dryer,15 pair of shoes,three carpets and three electric irons..

Wing Commander Naved Alam,posted at 3 BRD Air Force,reported that he had recently shifted to a new quarter and had left some of his belongings in his old quarter. On September 3,around 5.30 pm,Alam went to his old quarter to take some of his belongings. There he found that many of his things were missing and some were scattered in the room.

According to the police,either the theft took place a couple of days back – since a lot of items were stolen – or there was more than one person involved in the theft. A case of theft has been registered at the Sector 31 police station. No arrests have been made so far.
