UT declares first cut-off list for Class XI,CGPA 9.8 benchmark

The UT Education department on Monday declared its first cut off CGPA for admissions to Class XI in government schools.

The UT Education department on Monday declared its first cut off CGPA for admissions to Class XI in government schools. The highest cut off,as per the list for general category,is 9.8 CGPA in the science stream. Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS),Modern Housing Complex Manimajra witnessed the highest cut of in Science stream.

Second highest cut off that is CGPA of 9.4 in Science stream is witnessed at GMSSS,Sector 35 and GMSSS,Sector 16. While GMSSS- 16 saw CGPA of 9 as highest cut off in Commerce stream while GMSSS,Sector 35 saw CGPA of 8.8 as second highest cut off.

Moreover,in humanities stream GMSSS-16 again witnessed the highest aggregate marks. CGPA of 7.6 is the highest cut off in humanities. Followed by it,GMSSS,Sector 35 saw the second highest cut off in the said stream that is CGPA of 7.

In reserved category,9.2 CGPA is highest cut off in Science stream,8.4 CGPA is highest cut in Commerce while in Humanities 6.2 is the highest cut off. GMSSS-16 witnessed these highest cut-offs.

As per the instruction of the education department,candidates are advised to deposit their fees in school where the seat has been allotted on July 2 and 3 from 9 am onwards.

Students have to report in the school along with filled up admission form,spare set of photocopies of certificates,original documents for verification and latest photograph. If students failed to deposit their fee on the due date,the allotment of seat will be cancelled. Moreover,the option of school and stream given in the application form cannot be changed before the completion of first round of counselling.
