Inspiration and motivation, admits Anjali Jasrai, came to her early on and from varied quarters. Speaking at the launch of her first audio book,101 Success Mantras, the 20-year-old motivational speaker and B.Sc final-year student of Government College,Chandigarh, mentioned how books, her parents and motivational speakers from around the world have inspired her to talk about the importance of positive thinking.

Though originally penned by “inspirator” and speaker Sahil Sahore, the book, says Jasrai,is a “practical guide for success in life”. “During my interactions with various people,I realised that there are many people who don’t read. So I decided to transform the book into an audio version,” said Jasrai, adding that paucity of time is a big factor for people not to read.

Converting the book into an audio version was a challenge. “One can hear it while travelling, driving or walking and focus on achieving success with one mantra daily,” she says. The book lists 101 “success mantras,” which,Jasrai says, are simple to understand and implement as they are in sync with day-to-day life. She adds that these do require some effort, without which any book would not succeed to bring about the change it intends to. “This book has a solution to the many challenges we face. It’s not only about self-development but overall development,” says Jasrai. She is working on two more books — Say Yes to Your Potential by Skip Ross and Tit for Tat and Treat for Tat by Dr. Pal.

“My aim is to convert 100 books into audio ones by December,” she adds.
