Summer training programme launched for govt schoolkids

The Regional Institute of English (RIE),Sector 32 has started two new summer training programmes for students of government schools of the city.

The Regional Institute of English (RIE),Sector 32 has started two new summer training programmes for students of government schools of the city. RIE will be imparting computer training and communication skills to the students of GHS-32 and GMSSS-33.

Apart from the basics of computers,the programme will allow students to explore different components of the language lab where students can learn the use of language with the help of different learning softwares. The programme was inaugurated by Director,RIE,Dr Sharda Kaushik who highlighted the role of education for the self and society.

A training programme by RIE was also inaugurated at the Postgraduate Government College,Sector 46. An introductory lecture was given covering subjects like the importance of spoken English and confidence in everyday life. Students from all government school could attend these classes in colleges falling in their vicinity.
