Sportspersons,apart from excelling in their respective sporting events,performed well in the CBSE class XI examination. We list a few of them Dashmeet Kaur of KBDAV,Sector 7: A national-level roller hockey player not only earned a name for herself in sports,but did well in the examination by scoring a CGPA of 10. Her family and teachers claim that she has set an example for others on how to maintain a balance between sports and academics. She made her school proud throughout the year by winning gold,silver and bronze medals at national and state level competitions.

Soumiya Ravi of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School,Sector 26: She secured a CGPA of 9.8. Captain of the football team,she represented India in the under-16 championship. Pursuing science,Ravi aims to become a surgeon. “When I was seven-years-old,my grandfather died of cancer,that day I decided to become a doctor,” she added.

Ivy Raina of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School,Sector 26: She earned a CGPA of 9.6. She has also represented India in the under-19 football championships. With a dream to become an IAS officer,she said that she would continue to play.

Apart from them,three other sportspersons of Sacred Heart School also secured good CGPA. Mansha,a state-level cricket player got 9.8 CGPA.
