Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 22 registered a 2-0 (29-16,29-3) win over Government School,Khudha Lahora in a match in the boys’ category in the UT Inter-School Ball Badminton Championship.

Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 22 won the first game 29-16 before claiming the second game with a 29-3 to register the win. In the girls’ category,Government Model High School,Sector 37 scored a 2-1 (29-20,22-29,25-32) over Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 37-D. Government Model High School,Sector 37 lost the first game with a margin of 20-29 before winning the second game by a 22-29 margin. The third game saw Government Model High School,Sector 37 regrouping their energies and the team claimed the third game with a 32-25 margin to register the win.

In the second match in the girls’ category,St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School scored a 2-0 (29-11,29-14) win over Sacred heart School. St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School claimed the first game with a 29-11 margin before winning the second game with a 29-14 margin. In another match in the same category,Government Model High School,Sector 32 registered a 2-0 (29-13,29-10) win over Government High School,Sector 40. The first game saw Government Model High School,Sector 32 team showing dominance and the team claimed the game with a 29-13 margin. The second game also went in the favour of Government Model High School,Sector 32 as the team claimed the game with a 29-10 margin to win the match. In the lats match in the girls’ category,Dev Samaj Senior School,Sector 21 got a walkover from Carmel Convent School,Sector 9.

In the UT Inter-School Circle Kabaddi U-19 boys Championship,SGGSSS-35 scored a 17 point win over Government High School,Sarangpur while DAVSSS-8 scored a 13 point win over Government Senior Secondary School,Khuda Alisher.
