A reading contest,“Read Bapu Dham Campaign”,was launched by NGO Yuvsatta through Kitabghar library in the Bapu Dham Colony. The aim is to popularise the habit of reading. For the purpose,the programmes that are organised include book talks,story telling sessions and educational excursions. The reader having read the maximum books would be honoured.

Area councillor Naresh Kumar was present on the occasion.

Pramod Sharma,coordinator,Yuvsatta,said that through this 15-day-long reading contest,their volunteers would be motivating young children in Bapu Dham to spend most of their leisure time in reading good books during their summer break in schools.
