Despite an impressive century from Ayush Badoni (103),Delhi lost the final against Punjab on the first innings lead of 44 runs at Una during the U-14 cricket tournament played for Dhruv Pandove Trophy. Batting first,Delhi posted a total of 250 runs in 81.4 overs. The Delhi innings was propelled by Ayush’s century. Apart from him,there was no notable contributor for Delhi. His knock came from 193 balls. For Punjab,Abhishek Sharma bowled splendidly well to scalp five wickets,giving away 62 runs. In reply,led by knocks from Tavleen singh (59),Abhishek (41) and Azam Nazar (42),Punjab scored 294 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 95 overs and managed to beat Delhi on first innings lead.
