Punjab: 2,000 free medicine centres from next month, says Sukhbir

The Deputy CM, however, termed it to be a novel initiative of SAD-BJP government for the benefit of the common man.

In what brings to mind AAP’s mohalla clinics in Delhi, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal Thursday announced that the state will open 2,000 free medicine centres next month where medicines prescribed by government doctors will be provided free of cost.

The Deputy CM, however, termed it to be a novel initiative of SAD-BJP government for the benefit of the common man.
