PU seeks applications for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Studies

Panjab University (PU) has invited applications for admissions to the M Phil on Sri Guru Granth Sahib Studies in the School of Punjabi Studies.

Panjab University (PU) has invited applications for admissions to the M Phil on Sri Guru Granth Sahib Studies in the School of Punjabi Studies. Students can apply on or before August 2 (up to 5 pm) in the office of Department of Punjabi on the prescribed proforma for the course.

Students having 50 per cent marks at post-graduation level in any subject/stream from any faculty are eligible to apply without any fees. The form is available on the web link http://forms.puchd.ac.in/forms/20130529163249-admissionform2013.pdf

An entrance test will be conducted on August 6 in the Department of Punjabi. It will be based on the basic concepts and themes in the subjects of religion,philosophy and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Studies.

There will be two papers objective and subjective type of one hour and two hour duration respectively in the English and Punjabi medium from 9.30 onwards on August 6 as per the information.
