The Panjab University (PU) on Friday declared the results of BA-II year,B Sc (Hons) in Microbial Food Technology-III year and B Sc (Hons) Bio-Informatics-III year. In all the examinations,girls have outperformed boys.
Navroop Kaur of Ramgarhia Girls College,Miller Ganj,Ludhiana has topped the BA-II year examination of the Panjab University (PU). The result of the examination was declared on Friday. She scored 1,376 marks. Girls have bagged all the top ten positions,except the fifth position.
As many as 33,608 students have appeared for the BA-II examination out of which 24,071 students have passed. The pass percentage came out to be 71.63 per cent.
Akriti Sharma of MCM DAV College for Women,Sector 36 and Shivangi Sood of Government College for Girls,Ludhiana grabbed the second and the third positions respectively.
Moreover,in the BSc (Hons) Microbial Food Technology-III year results all 29 students passed the examination. Nitika Rana of DAV College,Sector 10 has topped the BSc Hons(Bio-Informatics) final year examination examination. Only 10 students had appeared for the BSc Hons (Bio-Informatics) Final Year examination and all of them have passed.
