Now,Mohali resident made to stand ‘till rising of the court’ for drink driving

The court suspended Gursharan Singh's driving licence for a month and inposed a fine of Rs 3,000 on him.

A local court on Thursday made Gursharan Singh,a resident of Mohali stand ‘till rising of the court’ as punishment for drink driving. He was challaned for the third time for drink driving on October 15 near Sector 22/23 crossing. The court suspended his driving licence for a month and inposed a fine of Rs 3,000 on him. As the accused could not produce his driving licence which he claimed was lost,registration certificate of his

vehicle was confiscated by the court.
