CM Parkash Singh Badal termed Navjot Singh Sidhu’s group as a pack of ‘disgruntled and opportunist political leaders’ without any ideological commitment.

The chief minister, who was in Lambi for a sangat darshan progrrame, said that this new “front” would hardly have any impact on state polity.

Addressing the public gathering, the Chief Minister said the people have time and again reposed faith SAD-BJP.

He called the front as a brainchild of ‘fugitive’ leaders who wanted to satiate their lust for power. The SAD-BJP alliance, he said, had been serving the people since last many decades.

Taking a jibe at the front, Badal said that many more such groups would mushrooms in state in coming poll season but people would extend their support only to the alliance.

Calling the AAP “an empty vessel which makes loud noise”, the Chief Minister dared them to list a single pro – people initiative taken by their government in Delhi. He said it was on record that AAP government in Delhi has not fulfilled even a single promise made to people during polls.

Coming down heavily on AAP leader Bhagwant Mann for equating the beneficiaries of Atta-Dal scheme with beggars, the Chief Minister said that this reflected the parochial mindset of AAP leadership.
