Man held in Kolkata for killing city youth

Police on Sunday arrested a person from Kolkata in the murder of a youth in the city on March 6.

According to police they arrested a man,Balister,from West Bengal in the murder of a youth,Gurpreet,who was killed by six people and whose dead body was thrown outside the office of the Indo Tibetan Border police last month.

Police have already arrested four people in the case while one person is absconding.

Police officials said that Gurpreet a resident of Fatephur was working as washer in Alchemist Hospital. They said that last month,the accused had gone to the hospital and were raising a hue and cry in the hospital,and he had objected to this. Enraged by this,the accused ran into an argument with Gurmeet.

Later they followed him and killed him,throwing his body outside the ITBP office. Police officials said that they tracked the cell phone of the accused to West Bengal following which a police party was dispatched to the state and the arrest was made.
