Housing a number of enclosed spaces, the maintenance of green spaces assumes prime importance in Sector 28.

Stretching from those adjoining the V-3 roads to inside the sector, the green spaces are in need of some serious sprucing up.

With heaps of construction waste littered around and a population of weeds that is ever growing,a lot needs to be done for the maintenance of these belts.

Sarita,a resident of the sector says,“The area near our houses is full of wild growth. We cannot go out at night for the fear of being bitten by a bug. It gives the sector an unkempt look. The authorities should clear the area.”

For Ravi Kumar, another resident, says that construction waste needs to be removed at the earliest.

“Everywhere in the sector,we can find heaps of construction waste. The residents need to ensure that once construction is complete, the waste is disposed off properly instead of being dumped at all places,” adds Kumar.

The Motor market in the area sees a number of vehicles come in for repairs everyday. With lack of proper parking space, these vehicles can be seen queued up on the roads.
