Riding high on half-centuries each by Inderjeet Singh (57) and Manpreet Gony (52),KK Club recorded a facile 162-run triumph over Atop Club in a match played during the ongoing UT T-20 knock out cricket tournament. Batting first,KK Club scored a massive total of 234 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Apart from the duo,Umesh Kaira (45 not out) and Sanjay (36) were the other batsmen who batted well. In reply,Atop Club were bundled out for 72 runs. Kulwinder Romi bagged three wickets for the winning team.

In the second match,Leaders in Cricket Club beat Paras Club convincingly by eight wickets. Paras Club won the toss and decided to bat first. They made 120 runs. Sonu Pandey top scored with 28 runs for Paras Club. Spinners Himanshu Chawla and Rajwinder Golu grabbed four wickets each for Leaders in Club team. They achieved the target with ease for the loss of two wickets. Leaders in Cricket Club’s chase was led by Ravi Inder Singh (57) and Himanshu Chawla (42).

In another match of the day,Chetna Club registered an eight wicket win over Chandigarh Police Club. Batting first,Chandigarh Police Club posted a total of 154 runs for the loss of six wickets. Vikas Rathee scored 66 runs for Chandigarh Police. In reply,Chetna Club achieved the target in 14.1 overs for the loss of two wickets. Rockey Ratta (78) and Ankit (55 no) scripted Chetna Club’s victory.

In the last match,DAV Club beat Local Boys Club by 18 runs. DAV Club made 151 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Kamal scored 47 runs for DAV Club. Karavnveer scalped two wickets for Local Boys team. In reply,Local Boys team was bowled out for 133 runs. Kulwinder took three wickets to help DAV Club win.
