“The marathon turned out to be a huge success as eminent scientists from all over the country such as Professor Y K Gupta, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and others participated in the marathon. The run was organised from Bhargava Auditorium, PGI, to Sukhna lake and was flagged off at 6.15 am by Dinesh Mongia, former India cricketer and guest of honour at the ocassion,” said a PGI spokesperson.
