THE INLD on Wednesday accused the Haryana government of selecting close relatives of Congress MLAs and chief parliamentary secretaries during the ongoing recruitment drive of Assistant Estate Officers (AEO).

In a statement,INLD legislator Ajay Chautala alleged that certain candidates, close to Congress MLAs and chief parliamentary secretaries would be selected by tweaking rules and criteria. Chautala also mentioned the leaders’ names and the roll numbers of their relatives who are going to be selected for the posts.

“HUDA is recruiting assistant estate officers by blatantly violating all rules. This is nothing but an attempt to recruit their own near and dear ones. In fact, the list of the candidates going to be selected has already been prepared at the chief minister’s residence,” Chautala said. “The Congress government has not learnt any lesson from the recent HC verdict, where the court quashed the recruitment of 1,983 PTI teachers, selected during the Congress’ regime.”
