Panchkula Police had claimed that Gill who was arrested on December 29,was behind the abductions of three children Jiya,Arnav and Mehak, all kids of industrialists,in 2009 and 2010 from Mohali and Panchkula. Gill is on police remand till January 9.

Meanwhile, another senior police officer said that Gill had not admitted his role in the another kidnapping case wherein an eight-year-old boy Tejas Gaba was abducted from Panipat. Tejas Gaba was kidnapped from Paruthi Chowk on December 12,2008,by three persons who, after firing a shot to scare off Tejas’s mother, had fled with the boy. The kidnappers had later made several ransom calls to his family. The case is presently being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
