Fans throng ticket-counters ahead of Ind- Aus ODI

The cricket fans thronged respective ticket counters across the tricity to buy the tickets.

The second day of the ticket sales of the upcoming ODI match to be played between India and Australia on October 19 at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium in Mohali,got a tremendous response from the fans across the tricity. The cricket fans thronged respective ticket counters across the tricity to buy the tickets. The ticket counters at the PCA Stadium (Gate Number 4 and 14) witnessed serpentine lines of the fans,who gathered there to get hold of the tickets. According to a PCA official, due to high demand of student and chair block tickets more than 4,800 tickets of these blocks have been sold. Also,sale for VIP block,terrace pavilion block and A.C lounge has also picked-up. Keeping in view the interest of cricket lovers,the PCA has decided to open ticket-counters gate No 4 and gate No.14 on Sunday. However,tickets will not be sold at the Central Bank of India branches across tricity on Sunday. The stadium has seating capacity of 28,000.
