Exhibition on Indian architecture held in Turkey universities

A travelling exhibition by Chandigarh-Punjab chapter of the Indian Institute of Architects was displayed in three Turkish universities: Yeditepe University (Istanbul),Trakya University (Edirne) and Kardeniz University (Trabzon).

The exhibition is aimed to document and portray some of the latest additions of modern building designs in the country. Most of the projects included in it have been unearthed and shown for the first time.

The exhibition included a variety of projects which are located in the remote rural settings to the metropolitan cities,smallest to the biggest in size and scale,which are designed for different climate zones and for various cultures. Further,the projects which incorporate various construction techniques and materials and cater to different functions.

The exhibition provides knowledge about the latest trends in Indian architecture today. It incorporates about 25 panels which include many projects. These projects are located in nine states of the country,and are designed by about 12 youngest and oldest in the country.
