Doaba students honoured for bagging top slots

Three students of the Doaba Group of Colleges,Kharar,were awarded medals for securing top positions in the BTech examination of Punjab Technical University

Three students of the Doaba Group of Colleges,Kharar,were awarded medals for securing top positions in the BTech examination of Punjab Technical University (PTU).

Those awarded are Rakesh Sharma,first rank in PTU in B Tech (Mechanical Engineering) semester VII,Gagandeep Kaur,first rank in PTU in B Tech (ECE) semester III,and Satpal Singh Khaira,second rank in PTU in B Tech (CSE) semester VII.

S S Sangha,managing vice-chairman,and Dr H S Batth,president of Doaba Group of Colleges,announced special awards for all achievers. The highlight of the awards scheme is a special cash prize of Rs 1 lakh for the PTU gold medalists.

Daljit Singh,director general,and S Jeet Singh,chief administrator of the group,congratulated the students.
