A local court on Tuesday reserved for orders the case of a murder of a woman who was allegedly murdered by a fruit vendor in the city nearly one and a half year ago. She allegedly had a live-in relationship with him. The court will pronounce the order

on Thursday.

According to police,Bhagwati,who allegedly had a live-in relationship with a vegetable vendor was killed by him after he poured kerosene oil on her.

The woman later died due to burns and said in her dying declaration at a government hospital that one Beer Pal,a vegetable vendor had poured kerosene over her.

The woman had alleged that she had had a tiff with Beer Pal over Rs 50. As per the prosecution case,Beer Pal had sought Rs 50 from Bhagwati and he killed her after she denied the money to him. Both Bhagwati and Beer Pal worked as vendors at the Sector 20 market and had been living together at a flat.
