In a new twist in the murder case involving the Doon MLA Ram Kumar Chaudhary, police found that the Hoshiarpur girl,Jyotikumari, whom he allegedly murdered with help from other associates, had a relationship with another boy whose SMSes have been found in the cell phone of the girl. The boy who has been identified as one Simi had been regularly sending SMSes to the girl but ended ties with her after he came to know that she was having an affair with the Doon MLA. Also there are family photographs of Ram Kumar Chaudhary during his sons birthday celebrations in the mobile of the girl. These evidences have been included in the supplementary challan readied by police and will be submitted in the high court next week.
Police said,in fresh evidence that has been collected against the Doon MLA,they have managed to retrieve the SMSes that were allegedly deleted by the MLA from the girls mobile before her murder. The SMSes throw new light on the case. Sources said that the SMSes show that the deceased girl was in a relationship with another boy. The SMSes also reveal that the boy snapped ties with the girl when he came to know about her affair with the Doon MLA.
The SMSes suggests that the girl also had access to the MLAs family. Police have retrieved picture of the MLA sons birthday from her cell phone indicating that she also knew the wife of the MLA.
Police said, the new evidence will support the prosecution case better as this confirms that the MLA had a relationship with the girl. Police added, the hair sample of the Ram Kumars associate,Paramjeet,is also awaited in the case. Sources said the hair sample report will be subsequently submitted in the court after the supplementary challan is filed.
Fresh evidence also suggest that the MLAs mobile number got through fake ID was procured from the same area where the girl was found murdered. The Hoshiarpur girl was found murdered in the city.
