Gurbani showed amazing consistency and maturity to lead right through the three-day competition and was the only golfer to card a sub-par round on the second day of the championship. Gurbani had her worst day of the tournament on Friday,as she finished eventually with a score of five-over 77,to end with a cumulative score of 220. It however proved to be more than sufficient in the end and was also the equal best score of the day.
Gurbani had a ten-stroke lead after the second round and registered a total of five bogeys and one double bogey to go with one birdie on the final day. It feels great to win at Chandigarh Golf Club as I have played a lot at this club. This is a special win for me and I hope to continue my good form in the amateur circuit.
