Principal of Mount Carmel to get CBSE award

Earnest Charles J Samuel,principal of Mount Carmel School in Sector 47,will be awarded the coveted ‘C.B.S.E. Award to Teachers for the year 2012’ in recognition for his contribution to the field of education. The award will be presented by the Minister of Human Resource Development on September 4.

Old students society organises lecture session

As part of the K.L Munshi Ji Memorial Lectures,Bhavan’s Old Students Society (BOSS) organised its third lecture session with guest speaker Vineet Marwaha,Deputy Director of Global Cancer Concern India,addressing stud ents about the deadly disease of cancer and consequences of using tobacco in any of its forms. Also,a power point presentation,which highlighted the wide spectrum of multifarious activities undertaken by BOSS in the previous years,was presented.
