City residents may have to bear the brunt of rotational power cuts on Sunday,October 6. The Nalagarh Grid Sub- Station would remain shut for 10 hours between 8 am and 6 pm. Officials of the Electricity Department claim that though back-up arrangements have been made,a need for rotational cuts may arise. An official said these days with the weather becoming pleasant,the electricity consumption had reduced,but in case of overloading,there could be rotational cuts in different sectors.

GMSH: Victim’s father seeks independent probe into negligence

CHANDIGARH: Father of the 21-year-old girl,who accused Government Multi Speciality Hospital,(GMSH) Sector 16 of medical negligence has asked for an independent probe into the case.

A day after medical superintendent Dr Rajiv Vadera initiated an inquiry into the case,the girl’s father went to the hospital and filed a written complaint asking for an independent probe.
