Chandigarh: Rail, air travel woes continue due to fog

Trains and flights continue to see delays due to the foggy weather condition in north India. On Saturday, two flights at the airport were canceled, while several trains reported delays in the Ambala division of the Northern railway. Railway officials said while all the Shatabdi trains operating between Chandigarh to Delhi arrived and departed on time, several other trains in the division were delayed due to the foggy weather. One Chandigarh-bound train was also delayed due to the fog. At Chandigarh International Airport, two flights were canceled and airport officials said that all the flights operated normally “with some delay”. The delayed flights were of Jet Airways and IndiGo.
